The Blockley range of beaded edge  ( Clincher ) tyres are the best that have ever been produced. This range of truly outstanding tyres, along with a range of inner tubes to suit (i.e. a single inner tube size per every individual size of tyre, unlike anything else available today) has been produced because we have had requirement for beaded edge ourselves, and have been shocked by the inadequacy of both the build quality and low quality of what is on offer, which are the reasons for all the problems and situations people regularly find themselves in by the roadside - especially with heavier or more powerful vehicles. Let alone inconvenience. You can just about get away with low grade or badly designed and built tyres on something lightweight and slow, that gets minimal use, but even in those circumstances why do this? Our Blockley brand beaded edge tyres are  not expensive, and only inexpensive because we sell direct to the end user, without the the mark up of a tyre wholesaler "specialist" massaged into teh price. We are heartened to note that since the introduction of Blockley beaded edge / Clincher tyre range that all other brands of beaded edge, irrespective of all the outlets that "shift" them, have slashed their prices considerably, except for the few sizes we have not yet made. But the mystery to us is why anyone would buy anything other than a Blockey, when everything about them is perfection, with correct dimensions (so much of what is available is too small in diameter) and so on.
