The original Blockley cross (bias) ply tyre.

All Blockley Cross (Bias)ply  tyres are made to fit the original rim widths the cars had in period, something other manufacturers have forgotten about over time. In addition Blockley tyres are all genuine tyres for road use, with a robust sidewall and covering, capable of being 'curbed' as you would expect from a tyre suitable for road use. The Dunlop triple stud pattern in period had an unfortunate wear feature which resulted in it being superseded. But I liked the period look of the triple stud, and so re-designed all features of this pattern to make it work correctly, stopping it wearing out in no time. The compounding of all our cross (Bias) ply tyres conform to FIA Appendix K which used Dunlop 204 compound as its reference hardness, although I see this has softened in recent years since the Dunlop race tyres are made at Camacs factory in Portugal! Hopefully they will be able to sort this out.  Our Blockley tyres have no equal, having won many thousands of races and other competitions as well as Concours d'Elegance events - including class wins and overall best of show at Pebble Beach.

We coined the term 'Road/Race' for Blockley tyres when we started, since our genuine road legal tyre were so good in competitions and races.  Since then we have been copied by the classic tyre wholesalers such as Coker, Longstone and Vintage Tyres who are hell bent on stopping the Blockley project!  So as we point out -  "Beware of imitations"!

All Blockley tyres are made with new moulds and tooling and a high level of quality control, designed in house, resulting in a product of unsurpassed quality, roundness and conformity. If we did not produce the best, there would be no point in making our Blockley products.
