Alpine Renault - Alpine Renault A110

The Alpine A110 rear engined cars were built from 1961, with larger engines compared to the earlier A108 based on the Dauphine. The Alpine A110 was originally the 1100cc powerplant of the Renault R8 or the Gordini tuned version of it. The iron blocked engines were replaced later on with the all alloy engine from the Renault 18 which could be tuned to extract 120bhp. Alpine was bought out by Renault by 1973, which was when the A110 won the first World Rally Championship, against stiff opposition from Porsche, Lancia etc. The Alpine A110 came with 1100cc, 1300cc and 1600cc capacities. Alpine A110 production continued to 1977 with the bodywork shape changing minimally in that time. The last model of A110 Alpine was the A110 Berlinette 1600SC.

Alpine A110 tyre size was originally 165R13, a size which Blockley produces in an excellent speed rated period correct tyre. We also produce a wider (but same diameter)  185/70VR13 for those who require this. Over the years we have been asked for non standard tyre sizes for the Alpines such as our 175/70VR13, and wide 235/60VR13, so we show these below also.
