Austin - Austin 2200
The Austin 2200 was the 6 cylinder 2227cc engine version of the Austin 1800, which was produced between the years 1972 and 1975. This 6 cylinder engine was said to be the 4 cylinder Maxi engine with two cylinders added on to it. And although it was a 6 cylinder engine, it was still mounted transversley in the Austin 2200. After 1975 these cars (both the 1800 and 2200) were evolved into the Princess.
