Austin - Austin Allegro

The Austin Allegro was available from 1973 in three model types, namely the Allegro 1100, the Allegro 1300 (which inherited their pushrod engines from  the Austin 1100 and 1300 models), and the Allegro 1500 which had the overhead cam engine from the Mk2 Maxi. With bodywork designed by Harris Mann, and altered before it made it to production, the Allegro was never as successful as the Austin 1100 model it took over from, for many reasons, one of which was that it cost so much more.

Tyre size for the Austin Allegro was originally 145R13, and Blockley produces a superb steel belt construction 145R13 tyre. See full details of this 145R13 tyre suitable for the Allegro at the link below. We also list the wider 175/70R13 tyre size for those that want something wider.
