Autobianchi - Autobianchi Primula
The really special thing about the Autobianchi Primula, which was a test bed for future Fiat designs, was Dante Giacostas ground breaking front wheel drive design on a transverse engine which became not only the method for the later 128 Fiat, but became the way forward in future front wheel drive design for Audi, Volkswagen and others. The Autobianchi Primula was built from 1964 to 1970.
