Borgward - Borgward Hansa
The Borgward Hansa was the first post war model built by Borgward, exhibited at Geneva in 1949. Styled in the modern American style, and with a 1500cc 4 cylinder engine, the car sold really well. For 1952 the Hansa 2400 was added to the range, which was the first of the Luxury Borgwards, having a six cylinder 2,337 engine. It incorporated the modern feature of electrically operated windows, as standard fitment. The Hansa was in production until 1958.
- Borgward Hansa 1500cc models had tyre size 5.90 x 13 which equate to radial tyre size 165R13 which Blockley produces an excellent 165HR13.
