Bristol - Bristol 412
The Bristol 412 was built from 1975, and looked totally different to anything Bristol had so far made. Mechanically it was as the Bristol that came before it (the 411) but with a modern 1970's looking brick like convertible body by Zagato. From 1976 the body incorporated a roll over bar into the body allowing for a Targa roof. Originally fitted with a 6.6 litre engine, from 1977 the Bristol 412 engine was reduced in capacity to 5.9 litres. Bristol 412 production continued to 1982.
Bristol 412 tyre fitment was 205VR15 . We would suggest today fitting a Blockley 215/70VR15 size designed specifically for these period cars, not only because of the huge cost saving, but because the Bristol will handle better on this size. See full details of this tyre below:
