Bugatti - Bugatti T43
The Bugatti Type 43 was built as a fast tourer introduced in 1927, using a detuned version of the 35B engine, using a different lower crankcase, fitted to the T38 frame - it was supposedly capable of 100mph. The 43 was supplied from the factory with their Grand Sport body or in chassis form until 1932 with the American influenced body style T43A. These cars left the factory with very low rear axle ratios that would benefit from changing for use today.
Bugatti Type 43 tyre size was originally 5.00x19, fitted to the alloy wheel which now had a larger brake drum. Our high quality good speed rated Blockley 5.00x19 is the most authentic and correct tyre that you could fit to a Type 43. These Blockley 500x19 tyres really are the best tyres available, and better still at a fraction of the cost of the weak handling Michelin avaiable, or pretty much anything else. Our realistic price is because we sell our tyres direct to the end user, garages and restoration shops and avoid the use of the Classic tyre wholesalers and their commissions. Blockley makes tyres and high quality inner tubes for a very different reason to other makers of "old car hobby" tyres!
