DAF - DAF 33
The DAF cars started being delivered in 1959. These first models were the DAF 600, and the 590cc flat twin engine was increased in capacity for 1961 by increasing the bore, making the new car the DAF 750. The name Daffodil was now used, mainly for the Daf cars that were for export, although in Germany it wasn't called Daffodil but DAF 30. Later the names DAF 31 and DAF 32 were used. Once DAF made their DAF 44 model, the earlier car was reclassified as DAF 33. The DAF 33 was built from 1967, no different from the previous Daffodil, and production of this model carried on to 1974.
DAF 33 original tyre size was 135R13 (also quoted sometimes in period as 135SR330) which no longer available, so fitment is now the 145R13 tyre size. Blockley Produces this 145R13 tyre with a period correct tread and steel belt construction for good handling - see full details of this tyre below:
