DAF - DAF66 Marathon
The DAF66 was introduced in 1972 as the replacement for the earlier 55 model, retaining the 4 cylinder Renault engine, while the DAF66 Marathon had the more powerful version 60bhp engine. The main design departure for the 66 was a totally different rear suspension so the cars no longer had a swing axle, as well as being fitted with a differential. DAF66 production went on to 1976 as the last of the DAF models designed, before the take over of the company by Volvo.
DAF66 original fitment was 155R13, but we have supplied the wider (but same diameter) version of this tyre, which is the 175/70VR13. This 175/70R13 fits well inside the standard DAF 66 wings, and is the size usually fitted to the DAF66 Marathon.
