Daimler - Daimler Regency
The Daimler Regency was first exhibited in 1951 and available from 1952. Using a very modified Consort frame, it was powered by a 3 litre six cylinder engine fitted well forward in the frame. For 1952 the engine was bored to 3.5 litres, with a 4.6 litre option.
The Daimler Regency tyre fitment was originally listed 6.50x16 or 6.70x16. The radial alternative tyre size is the 185R16, and Blockley produce a superb high quality 185VR16 with steel belt construction - full full details below:
