DKW - DKW F11 Junior, F12
The DKW Junior with its two stroke 660cc engine was first unveiled in 1957, and later called the DKW Junior for the DKW 750 when engine was enlarged to 741cc. By 1963 the Junior De Lux got replaced by the DKW F12. By 1965 VW took over DKW and the DKW's were phased out, as 4 cylinder 4 stroke engines started to outperform the 2 stroke.
Tyre size for the DKW Junior F11 and F12 was listed at 5.50x13, but all period tyre lists show the radial 145R13 tyre as the fitment for these cars. Blockley produces a superb, high quality 145R13 with period correct tread pattern - see full details of this superb 145R13 tyre at the link below:
