Ferrari - Ferrari 250 GT/E
The Ferrari GT/E was the 2+2 bodied model, using the long 2.6 metre wheelbase, as on the long wheelbase California Spyder, with the same specification 240 hp tuned engine. The extra interior space of the 250GT/E was achieved by pushing the engine forward in the chassis frame, to allow for the 4 seats. This Pininfarina built car was the backbone of Ferrari production, starting in 1959 and continuing to 1963, with some 1,000 units being produced. the 250GT/E can be easily confused with the later virtually identical 330 America, which was the same except for the larger 4 litre engine.
