Ferrari - Ferrari 250 GT "Tour de France"
The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta was built for the new GT class of 3 litres as a road and race car. The bodywork was all alloy built by Scaglietti and it had a competition tuned version of the Colombo 3 litre V12. The car became dominant in the Tour de France which it won from 1956 through 1959, hence the nickname of the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta as Tour de France. From the first cars to the last there were 4 series of cars, which ceased as the Ferrari 250 SWB took over.
Tyre size for the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta "Tour de France" was 600x16, which is what we would recommend. For anyone wanting a radial ply tyre, the equivalent size is our 185VR16 tyre.
