Fiat - Fiat 130

The Fiat 130 was built from 1969 up to 1977, initially using the V6 2.8 litre engine, later enlarged to 3.2 litres in 1971. The increase in capacity was to make the Fiat 130 more compatible with the German executive saloon offerings, while at the same time the interiors were upgraded significantly. The Fiat 130 was the replacement for the previous 2300 model, which suddenly looked very old fashioned as soon as the clean modern lines of the Fiat 130 were first shown. Shortly afterwards a good looking 2 door Pininfarina Coupe was introduced in 1971, which stayed in production until 1976, a year or so after the standard 4 door 130 had finished production.

Fiat 130 tyre sizes:

- The Fiat 130 Berlina (4 door saloon) was originally fitted with the 185R14 tyre size, which carried on throughout its production. Blockley produces this period correct high speed rated 185HR14 size,

- The Fiat 130 Coupe was fitted with the wider 205/70VR14 tyre size, and Blockley also produces a superb high speed rated 205/70VR14 tyre for the Fiat 130.
