Fiat - Fiat 1300 & 1500
The Fiat 1300 and Fiat 1500 were identical but for the engine capacity, and were built between 1961 and 1967, available as a saloon or estate, plus a Pininfarina coupe and cabriolet looking much as the previous Fiat 1200. These Fiat 1300 and 1500 were lightweight, with disc brakes at the front and alloy drummed brakes at the rear.
Tyre size fitment for the Fiat 1300 and Fiat 1500:
- The Fiat 1300 and Fiat 1500 saloon (Berline and Familiare) were originally fitted with cross ply tyre size 5.60x13 which is equivalent to radial size165R13, and Blockley produces the perfect 165HR13 steel belted tyre size, with period correct tread pattern.
- Fiat 1500 Pininfarina Cabriolet had the tyre size 5.20x14 originally which is radial 145R14 tyre size, and by 1964 this radial 145R14 tyre size was fitted by the factory as standard. Blockley produces this steel belted high quality 145R14 tyre size.
- Fiat 1500S Cabriolet had 15" wheels offered with both tyre sizes 155R15 or 165R15. Blockley produces a excellent quality high speed rated steel belt 155HR15 (which we also make in a whitewall type) and 165VR15 tyres, with period correct tread pattern.
- Fiat 1500L was fitted with 165R14 tyre size, and Blockley produces an excellent 165HR14 tyre size.
