Ginetta - Ginetta G4
The original G4 was built between 1960 and 1969, fitted with the latest Ford 105E 997cc engine and a curvaceous glass fibre GT style body. This was Ginettas first car that you could drive on the road as well as race and there were various models over the years. But in reality you could fit any 4 cylinder Ford engines. These earlier Ginettas stopped being made in 1961.
For 1981 a totally new longer and wider new Ginetta G4 Series 4 was built with using a 1600cc Ford engine.
For tyres, the Ginetta G4 started off with 5.20x13 tyres which is radial 145R13 while the later Ginetta Mk4 (built 1981 to 1984) tyre size was 185/70R13. See full details of both these tyre choices at the links below.
