Honda - Honda N600
The Honda N600 was built alongside the smaller engine capacity N360. Although the N600 was sold in Japan as the N600E model, this N600 Honda with the larger capacity was primarily aimed at the export market, and was the first Honda available for sale in the USA by the Honda Motor Co. In the USA it was called the Honda 600 Sedan. Apparently the all alloy 598cc engine that could rev to 9000 rpm was apparently noisy in the car when being pushed hard, but that is hardly surprising! For 1972 the engines were detuned and less "cammy", and therefore easier to drive, giving much the same power with smoother delivery, and these later N600's were still exciting to drive as they were so light.
