Jaguar - Jaguar Mk5
The Jaguar Mk 5 was a 2.7 litre (2663cc) 3.5 litre (3485 cc) saloon car built from 1948, using the same overhead valve engines as used prewar with the SS100 models. It was also available with a drop head coupe body option. The Mk5 was the first Jaguar saloon car to have independent front suspension. It was launched at the London Motor show at the end of 1948 alongside the new Jaguar sports car XK120 (which had the different Jaguar twin cam engine designed by Walter Hassan). The Jaguar Mk 5 was produced until 1951.
Jaguar Mk5 tyre fitment was originally 6.70x16. We would recommend Blockley radial 185VR16 tyre size.
