Lagonda - Lagonda M45

At around the same time as the little Lagonda 1100cc car was being made, at the other end of the scale was the new 4 1/2 litre Meadows engined Lagonda M45 introduced from 1933. The M45 allowed for much larger bodies to be made, due to the extra power, and the most popular open tourer body was designed in house and called the T7. A tweaked version by new arrival WO Bentley won the Le Mans 24 hours race in 1935.
