Lamborghini - lamborghini 400GT

The Lamborghini 400GT was the evolution of the 350 model, introduced in 1966, starting off much as the earlier machine but with the engine capacity now increased to 4 litres (3929cc). Then the 400GT2+2 was a reworking of this car, with Carrozzeria Touring altering the bodywork to allow 2 people to sit in the back, yet at the same time keeping the wheelbase the same. Production of the Lamborghini 400GT and 400GT2+2 continued to 1968.

Tyre size for the Lamborghini 400GT and 400GT 2+2 was originally 205R15, but the 215/70R15 size (as used later on many Lamborghinis) is a better handling tyre that fits nicely in the wheel arches, and what most people would fit when they were available.
