Lanchester - Lanchester 10
The Lanchester Ten (tax rated 10hp) was built between 1932 and 1935 after it was taken over by BSA who also owned the Daimler marque. The chassis came from the BSA Ten, while the 1200cc overhead valve engine was the 4 cylinder version of the Daimler 15 built at the same time. The Lanchester Ten was followed by the bored and stroked Lanchester Eleven, which was built to 1939.
Lanchester 10 tyre size was originally 4.50x19, and Blockley produces the best quality 4.50x19 tyre for these cars - see full details below:
The Lanchester Eleven was fitted with tyre size 500x18, and Blockley also produces a suitable 450/500x18 tyre.
