Lancia - Lancia Flavia

The Lancia Flavia was made between 1961 and 1974, after which it evolved into the Lancia 2000 which carried on through to 1975. The Flavia had an aluminium alloy boxer 1500cc engine, the work of Antonio Fessia, and was the first front wheel drive car to be built by Lancia. Originally available only as the 4 door Berlina model, followed in 1962 by a 4 seater coupe (by Pininfarina) on a shorter wheelbase, a cabriolet (by Vignale) and the twin carburettor Sport (by Zagato) which was distinctive for the rear widows curving into the roof. For 1963 the Flavia range also included an enlarged 1800cc version fitted with five speed gearbox and mechanical fuel injection, and from 1969 the 2 litre Flavia option was added to the range, although by this time the bodywork was limited to the Berlina and Pininfarina Coupe.

Tyre size for the Lancia Flavia was the 155R15 size fitted by the factory up to 1964, and from 1965 onward the tyre size was increased marginally to 165R15 for all Flavia models. The Lancia Flavia Zagato was specified with an H speed rated 130mph / 210kph which, as it happens, is the Blockley specification. Blockley produces both these 155R15 and 165R15 tyres with a superb period correct high speed rated steel belted period correct tread 155HR15 and 165VR15 tyres, which is guaranteed to improve the handling of the Flavia, or your money back!  See details below.
