Lancia - Lancia Fulvia
The Lancia Fulvia model was produced between 1963 and 1976. The replacement for the Appia, there were 3 types of Fulvia which were the Berlina (a 4 door saloon), Coupe (the 2 door designed in house at Lancia) and the Fulvia Sport which was the fastback coupe built by Zagato which had been penned by Ercole Spada. The narrow angle V4, a Lancia trademark, was so narrow angled in this case that it had a single head casting. Starting off at 1091cc the Fulvias engine had another 5 engine size iterations, with some new cylinder block changes, to end up at 1584cc in the Fulvia 1.6HF.
The three Lancia Fulvia types of Berlina, Sport and Coupe in late 1969 / 1970 became the Series 2 which had a 5 speed gearbox for the Coupe and Sport, and invariably more power from the engines. The Coupe Rally became the Coupe S, Montecarlo and 1600's.
Tyre sizes for the Lancia Fulvia: As a rule the First Series Lancia Fulvia had as original equipment the 145R14 tyre size and pretty much every Second series Lancia Fulvia had the larger 165R14 size, although there were a few exceptions! Below we list what was original fitment for interest. So that is 145R14 and 165R14. For the 1.6HF rally car this had the wider 185/70R13 on 13" wheels, and our Blockley 185/70VR13 would be perfect!
