Lancia - Lancia Montecarlo

The final Lancia Beta was the Pininfarina designed Lancia Montecarlo, a mid engined car.  Remember Fiat had taken over Lancia at this stage and the less costly to builtd Bertone project Fiat X1/9 had won over from the Pininfarina concept for Fiats next two seater sports car. But this Pininfarina project was reworked into what became the Lancia Montecarlo . And the Montecarlo  had a much bigger 2 litre engine. The earlier 1975 to 1978 production were marketed as Lancia Beta Montecarlo. Then after a 2 year gap to revise various items, mainly in the braking department , the cars reappeared for a second batch available 1980 and 1981 which were called Lancia Montecarlo.

Tyre size for the Lancia Montecarlo was 185/70R13 , and Blockley produce a great high speed rated steel belted period correct looking 185/70VR13 size. Lancia Monte Carlos fitted with the 14" wheels can be fitted with the 185/70VR14 Blockley tyre. These Blockley tyres are incredible value only because we sell direct, and not through the Classic tyre wholesalers - see details below.
