Lancia - Lancia Montecarlo
The final Lancia Beta was the Pininfarina designed Lancia Montecarlo, a mid engined car. Remember Fiat had taken over Lancia at this stage and the less costly to builtd Bertone project Fiat X1/9 had won over from the Pininfarina concept for Fiats next two seater sports car. But this Pininfarina project was reworked into what became the Lancia Montecarlo . And the Montecarlo had a much bigger 2 litre engine. The earlier 1975 to 1978 production were marketed as Lancia Beta Montecarlo. Then after a 2 year gap to revise various items, mainly in the braking department , the cars reappeared for a second batch available 1980 and 1981 which were called Lancia Montecarlo.
Tyre size for the Lancia Montecarlo was 185/70R13, and Blockley produce a superb high speed rated steel belt period correct 185/70VR13 tyre size.
