Mazda - Mazda 626
The Mazda 626 (which was called the Capella at home in Japan) was built from 1970 onward, initially with 1.5 and 1.6 litre engines, which were later increased to 1800cc. The rotary engine when fitted in the Capella was given the name Mazda RX2 when it was for export, while the second generation of cars built from 1978 were marketed abroad as the Mazda 626. For 1982 a third generation front wheel drive cars were made, and from 1987 the fourth generation 626 was available with 1.6, 1.8 and 2 litre engines.
There were many Mazda 626 models over the years, but the bulk of the models from 1971 to 1998 are covered by four tyre sizes covering 13 and 14 inch wheels, all of which Blockley produces. These Blockley tyres for these Mazda 626 Capella have excellent speed rating, steel belt construction with high quality 165HR13, 185/70VR13, 165HR14 and 185/70VR14 sizes.
