Mazda - Mazda Cosmo
The Mazda Cosmo sports car was available from 1967 as a flagship model to show off the brand, with the futuristic new rotary Wankel patent engine, which there were great hopes for. Many of the Cosmo had been built prior to availability for the dealerships to have on show, and it is suspected that sales were withheld until NSU (who were also building a rotary engine car) were ready with their car. Production of this rare and futuristic car lasted to 1972.
