Mazda - Mazda RX7
The Mazda RX7 was produced from 1978. This model range was marketed by Mazda as the "Savanna RX7" , replacing the earlier Savanna range. This new Mazda RX7 had a 2 door 2 seater hatchback bodywork, and all fitted with the rotary engine. A small, compact and light car, with its engine well back in the frame resulted in excellent performance from the small engines. The second series of RX7 was produced from 1981, with the Series 3 RX7 from 1984. This first generation of Mazda RX7 stayed in production until the end of 1986. The RX7 as a model name was used by Mazda until 2002.
Mazda RX7 original tyre fitment depended on the model. The base model Mazda RX7 GTJ was fitted with 165R13 size, and Blockley produces the perfect 165HR13 tyre for this. Tyre size for the other three MazdaRX7 models (GT2 , SEGT2 and SELTD) were fitted at the factory with the wider (but same diameter) 185/70R13 tyre size. The Blockley 185/70VR13 would be the perfect fitment for the Mazda RX7, and our realistic prices are only because we sell direct. See full details of these tyres below:
