Mercedes - Mercedes W110
These Mercedes W110 "Fintail" models were in production between 1961 and 1968, and were the less expensive 4 cylinder cars sold by Mercedes. The first series of these Mercedes models was the 190c with the diesel engine version being the 190Dc, the diesel engine version becoming a popular workhorse worldwide as taxis. This was because of their large interior space and better fuel economy. For 1965 the second series replaced the earlier models of Mercedes W110 with a larger capacity engine, these models now being the Mercedes 200 with the diesel version being 200D, plus the petrol engine model Mercedes 230. These second series Mercedes W110 continued to be made until the end of 1967.
