MG - MG N Type

The MG N Type was only in production for 2 years and available from late 1934. The engine used was the 6 cylinder 1271cc K Type overhead camshaft engine, fitted with twin carburettors. The taller body gave more driver protection and a departure from previous Magnette was dispensing with the slab tank, which gave extra room for the 4 seats. During 1934 the NB became available, which is distinctive in having vertical slats to the radiator. A team of special race cars ran in the 1934 TT (known as the NE), a few cars also being built subsequently for Trialling. These MG N Type Magnette were the last MG's to be fitted with an overhead camshaft engine. Production ceased in 1936.
