Mini - Mini Mk4
The Mk4 Mini was in production from 1976, with a choice of four engine sizes which were 850cc, 1000cc and 1275, as well as the limited edition Mini 1100. To refine the car the front and rear subframe method of location was modified and larger bushing at the rear was to reduce noise level inside. Both the Mini 850 City and Mini 1100 Special were built until 1980 when the Metro was launched, but the Mini stayed in production.
Mini Mk 4 tyre size was 145R10, up to 1983, after which the Minis had a 12 inch wheel. Blockley produces the 145R10 steel belted Mini tyre, with good speed rating, as well as the wider version 165/70R10. See full details of these tyres below:
