Morris - Morris Six
The Morris Six Series MS was the six cylinder car in the post war Morris range announced in 1948. From the bulkhead backwards the body was the same as the Morris Oxford, while the front was longer for the six cylinder engine. For 1953 the Morris Six was offered also with a De Luxe version with leather upholstery, and even a heater as standard - adults were much hardier back then! With a different radiator grille, this car was also the Wolseley 6/80. The Morris Six MS stayed in production until 1954.
Morris Six MS tyre size ; The original tyre fitment was 6.00x15. The radial tyre equivalent is the 185R15 size. Inner tube size is the Blockley 175/185-16 size which is the perfect fitment. Although the 185VR15 Blockley tyre is tubeless type, one is supposed to fit an inner tube into these earlier wheels. See full details of the 185VR Blockley below:
