Panhard - Panhard Dynamic
The Panhard Dynamic was first shown at the end of 1936 as a replacement for the 6CS, while the other 2 model types produced by Panhard & Levassor (larger 6 and 8 cylinder DS) was also discontinued. The Panhard Dynamic had a monocoque construction. Between 1937 and 1940 the Dynamic was offered with the three wheelbase options of 2.5m, 2.86 or a very long 3.8m. The 6 cylinder engine started off with the 2.5 litres capacity of the Dynamic 31 or a enlarged 2.861cc installed in the Dynamic 140. For 1938 the longest 3.8 metre wheelbase car had a capacity of 3.83 litres and called the Dynamic 160.
Tyre size for the Panhard Dynamic 130 and Panhard Dynamic 140 was originally "160/40", which is 165R400 size. Blockley produces this 165HR400 tyre size with a steel belted construction.
