Peugeot - Peugeot 104
The Peugeot 104 was a 4 door model introduced in 1972 with a light weight all alloy 954cc engine. Much like the Mini which revolutionised small car design, this Peugeot engine had an integral gearbox in the sump, while the engine almost laid on it's side which lowered the 104's centre of gravity, making these little cars have really good handling. By 1974 a 2 door version of the 104 was built, and for 1976 the 4 door body became a 5 door. The Peugeot 104 was built until 1988.
Tyre size for the Peugeot 104 ( GL , GR and ZR) was 135R13 , so today use 145R13 size as 135R13 is not available. The difference is negligible and in any case note that the Peugeot 104 SR was fitted with the 145R13 tyre size as standard.
