Peugeot - Peugeot 204
The Peugeot 204 was produced in a huge variety of body types from 1965 through to 1976. It was the first Peugeot model ever to incorporate disc brakes, at the front. A front wheel drive model with a lightweight all alloy engine which initially had a capacity of 1130cc which put it into the 6CV road tax bracket,. Toward the end of production a slightly larger capacity engine was used. The 1.3 litre diesel engine was introduced in 1968, which was increased to 1.4 litres from 1973 onwards.
