Renault - Renault 16
The Renault 16 was made for 15 years, from 1965 to 1980. The front wheel drive 4 door 1470 cc hatchback gave it a large spacious interior, somewhere between a saloon and estate car, and the car came in 2 variants: the Renault 16 Grand Luxe and Renault 16 Super. A 1565 cc engine came in 1968 with the 16TS which was enlarged to 1647cc for the top of the range Renault 16TX model, introduced in 1973. Production of the Renault 16 ended in early 1980.
Renault 16 tyre sizes were originally quoted 145x355 which is a 145R14 tyre, or 185/70R14. Between these two sizes everything for a Renault 16 is covered - 16TLM, 16TS, 16TLA,16TSA, 16TX.
