Renault - Renault R5
The Renault R5 was produced between 1972 and 1985 and became the best selling car in France over its lifespan. A two door hatchback with a choice of entry level 782cc or 956 cc engines, and by 1974 there was the option of the 1289cc engine of the type used in the Renault 12. The Renault 5 also came with a 5 door body. By 1976 the entry level model had the larger 845cc engine with the larger engine now increased to 1400cc. Models were 1 litre (R5C and R5TC), 1.1 litre (R5L and TL, Gand GL, GTL and SL) and also with 1.2, 1.4 and 1.7 engines, as well as a Diesel
