Rolls Royce - Rolls Royce 25/30
The Rolls Royce 25/30 introduced in 1936 was a result of the continual evolution of the 20/25 model, now with the larger 89mm bore engine giving a capacity of 3669cc. Otherwise things were not too dissimilar from the previous model, although one must appreciate that the previous model had many changes and improvements continually over its seven years of production. The 25/30 had a change of carburettor, and its engine ignition was by coil ignition only, dispensing with the magneto. The Rolls Royce 25/30 was produced until 1938 when the Wraith became available.
Rolls Royce 25/30 tyre size had as original fitment the 600x19 tyre size, for which Blockley produces an authentic tyre, marked "550/600x19". Many 25/30 Rolls Royce have since been fitted with larger 650x19 tyres, which Blockley also produces. Full details of both these tyres below.
