Siata

Siata started off in the modifying and supply of competition and performance parts by Giorgio Ambrosini, and this led on to producing cars post war from 1948, with the "etceterini" Amica, and a Sport Spider barchetta with bodywork built by Motto. This was followed by theDiana based on the Fiat 1400,. Siata was also responsible for the Cucciolo engine supplied by Ducati for motorising bicycles and mopeds, but that is another story. Siata are probably best known today for their 208S, usually fitted with the 8V Fiat engine. The Siata company lasted until 1975.
