Skoda - Skoda 105, 120, 125
The "Type 742" encompassed the Skoda 105, Skoda 120 and Skoda 125 models which started production in 1977. The designers had wanted to build a front wheel drive car, but orders from Moscow forbade this, so the new models were based on their earlier rear wheel designs. Engine sizes were Skoda 105 with a 1050 cc engine with Skoda 120 and 125 models with the 1174 cc engine. The cars were sold in the UK under the name "Estelle" and as a Rally car were continually winning their class in the RAC Rallies. And although selling in good numbers they were also heavily scrapped as years went on!
Tyre size for the Skoda Estelle (Skoda 105, Skoda 120 and Skoda 125) was 165R13. Blockley produces a high quality good speed rated steel belted 165HR13 tyre.
