Sunbeam - Sunbeam 20/60
In the range of Sunbeam models made in the 1920's was the 3.2 litre 20/60 model, which was in direct competition with cars such as the Rolls Royce 20. Introduced by Sunbeam in 1923, the engine was a six cylinder with seven main bearing crankshaft and overhead valves, capable of some 70mph when fitted with tourer coachwork, a good performance for the time, slowed down with its 4 wheel brakes. The Sunbeam 20/60 stayed in production to 1927.
Tyre size for the Sunbeam 20/60 was originally beaded edge 820x120, but subsequently many of these 20/60's were fitted with tyre size 525x21. See details of both these superb tyres at the links below.
