Toyota - Toyota Corolla

Toyota needed a smaller car to capitalise on the demand for a small fuel efficient car, and the Toyota Corolla was the result, introduced in late 1966. Updated in 1970, the Corolla was followed by the third generation in 1974 which now also offered a hatch back body in the range.

A good tyre size for the Toyota Corolla is 165R13 which Blockley produces a steel belted, period correct good speed rated tyre to replace the original cross ply 5.60x13. The 110hp Corolla was listed with the wider 175/70R13 tyre size, while the wider version of the 165R13 tyre, the 185/70R13 size was in any case listed for some of the American series cars as an option from the early 1970's.
