Triumph - Triumph 1500
The Triumph 1500 replaced the Leyland 1300 and 1300TC models in 1970, by enlarging the engine capacity from 1300 to 1500cc, while the bodywork was altered to give the new car a larger boot space. The front of the Triumph 1500 was also altered. Production of the Triumph 1500 lasted to 1973.
Tyre size for the Triumph 1500 was originally 5.60x13, using a 4" rim width, and a good radial equivalent for this tyre size is the 165R13 size. Blockley produce a high speed rated correct period looking steel belted 165HR13 - see details below:
