Triumph - Triumph Toledo
The Triumph Toledo was introduced in 1970 as the less expensive version of the Triumph 1300, and to achieve this it was fitted with rear wheel drive with a live rear axle. Originally a 2 door body, a 4 door was brought out for 1971, and a 1500cc version was called the Toledo TC, the TC standing for twin carburettor. For 1973 disc brakes were added and from 1975 the Toledo was only available with 4 door body, but with a much better specification, before production stopped in 1976.
Triumph Toledo tyre size was originally listed as 5.20x13 or 5.60x13, and also sometimes as 155R13. Looking at these sizes, the 5.20x13 cross ply tyre is radial equivalent 145R13, and the 5.60x13 size is quoted as radial equivalent 155R13. Blockley produces a 175/70R13 which is a wider version of the 155R13. Dimensionally a 5.60x13 is closer to a 165R13 radial tyre .
