Vauxhall - Vauxhall Edwardian models
Below we list various original tyre sizes coupled to the Vauxhall models that fitted these sizes. Many of these sizes will have been altered over the decades due to unavailability, expense and so on, and we can probably supply the incorrect sizes as well !
- 26x3 (same as 700x80) fitted to the earliest Vauxhalls single cylinder 5hp of 1903, and 6hp of 1904, as well as the 3 cylinder 9hp and 12hp of 1905.
- 815x105 tyre size fitted to Vauxhall 20hp of of 1908, 16hp of 1909, 16/20 of 1911and the 1913 version, as well as the famous Vauxhall Prince Henry and follow on Vauxhall 30/98 E Type.
- 820x120 tyre fitted the 3.5 litre Vauxhall 27hp of 1910 and 4.6 litre 30hp of 1911, the 4 litre 25hp D Type, with a similar 25hp reappearing in 1921.
- 895x135 was specified on the 5.1 litre Vauxhall 35hp of the 1913 - 1915 period.
Although post the Edwardian period and covered elsewhere on the Blockley website the 23/60 (OD) was originally specified with 880x120 while the later OE Vauxhall 30/98 was specified with 820x120.
Blockley can supply the best quality beaded edge tyres and inner tubes, made because we are unimpressed with the other brands available, as well as being asked to produce some sizes.
