Volkswagen - Volkswagen Jetta
The Volkswagen Jetta, available in 2 door and 4 door versions, was in effect a VW Golf with a boot added on! Produced from 1979, the idea of the Jetta was to have a larger Golf with a more traditional boot, unlike the hatchback which many customers were still getting used to the shape of. And as with the Golf and Scirocco, the bodywork was again the work of Guigaro. A Mk2 version came in 1984 and ran to 1992.
