Volvo - Volvo 260
The Volvo 260 is part of the Volvo 200 range introduced in 1974. The numbers 260 mean second generation (i.e. a second generation of the 140 series) with six cylinder engine. There were 3 variations of of 2 door, 4 door or estate cars that were introduced for 1975 , which were the Volvo 264DL , 264GL and 262C. Production of the Volvo 260 ran until the start of the 700 Series in 1982, whereas the 4 cylinder version of the 200 range carried on to 1993.
