Volvo - Volvo P445
The Volvo PV445 , also called Volvo Duett, was in production from 1954 with the 1.8 litre 4 cylinder engine. These tended to be large estate cars using a ladder chassis frame (as opposed to their normal post war monocoque design), which could also be used for light commercial use, as Volvo would supply the chassis with just a cab for other outside coachbuilder body makers to body as they wished. Production of the Duett / P445 carried on to the late 1960's.
Volvo P445 tyre size was initially 6.00x15 but soon after was changed to 6.40x15. The radial equivalent tyre size is the 185R15, and Blockley produce an excellent steel belted good speed rated 185VR15 - see full details below:
