Wolseley - Wolseley 15/50
The Wolseley 15/50 was produced from 1956, and was the replacement for the Wolseley 4/44. The 15/50 had the new BMC B series 1,489 cc 4 cylinder engine, but with only one carburettor. The Wolseley 15/50 was the BMC version of the more potent MG Magnette which had been introduced some years earlier. So although the Wolseley had less performance compared to the MG it was better appointed inside with polished walnut dashboard and capping, leather seats and so on. The Wolseley 15/50 was produced until 1958 when replaced by the 15/60.
Wolseley 15/50 tyre size was originally 5.60x15 which is Blockley 155HR15 radial tyre size. Note that in this 155HR15 tyre size Blockley also produces a whitewall tyre.
